Use of our Application Program Interface, or API, is provided exclusively to our "Reseller" customers but not retail customers.
API access is also restricted by IP address. If you are attempting to integrate with our API and receive the error " User not permitted from this IP address ", your IP has likely not been whitelisted for use with your account. Click here to add your server's IP address or navigate to the same page by:
- Login to your Enom account
- Select the Resellers drop down menu
- Choose Manage
- Select API
Please keep in mind that this IP address should be static, and should be the outbound IP address of the machine that is sending the API calls to our servers. If you are still getting an error after whitelisting an IP and are using services such as WHMCS, the IP that you whitelisted might not be the IP that your service is connecting from. Please contact WHMCS or your service provider for the correct IP to whitelist.
