Registrant contact information is checked annually for gTLDs (.COM, .NET etc.). You will get a notice from us advising you that if the information is inaccurate, your domain could be cancelled.
If you are planning on transferring the domain, first disable the transfer lock in your account settings as changing your Registrant contact details will trigger a 60-day lock if you do not. Once you've triggered the lock, there is no way to bypass it. Ensuring you have access to the Registrant email address is very important as that is the email where your EPP Key/Auth Code is sent.
To change the Registrant contact information:
- Locate your domain and select Contact Information from the Manage Domain dropdown.
- Choose Custom so you can change the registrant email address for this particular domain.
- Click Save after making the modifications.
