.ch and .li domain names can only be renewed by setting the domain name to Auto-Renew prior to the renewal deadline, which is different than the domain expiration date.
If auto renew is turned off and it passes the auto renew by date, the domain is deleted and enters a restore period. If this happens, we may be able to recover it for an increased redemption fee.
To avoid missing the renewal deadline, ensure that the Auto-Renew setting is turned ON more than 30 days prior to the expiration date. The renewal of the domain will occur approximately 30 days before expiration by eNom; the renewal at the registry takes place on the expiration date, even if the domain has already been charged.
