- The first nameserver must be the same as that indicated in the SOA record of the domain name.
- A CNAME must not be associated with the domain name.
- The name of the nameserver specified in the SOA record must not be a CNAME.
- The names of the authoritative nameservers for the domain name must not be CNAMEs.
- At least one MX or A record must exist for the domain name.
- Where an MX record is present it must not have an associated CNAME.
- The nameservers must be live and responsive for the domain name at the time of the check.
- Any nameservers indicated in the form must be authoritative for the domain name.
- Nameservers must be recognized within the .it zone. If you have registered your own nameservers using a domain in your account, we can add the relevant out-of-zone record for you. To have us do this, please submit us a ticket (see article How to Register, Modify or Delete Nameservers Using Your Domain for ticket submission instructions).
