If you haven't already purchased Enom email service, please give us a call at (425) 274-4500. Please note that as soon as the email service is purchased, new emails will go through Enom instead of AOL. If possible, please backup your AOL emails prior to calling us.
After the email purchase, you can create an email account at Enom and follow the links in the article to change the MX record and configure your email software.
If you have trouble creating an email account, or if you would like assistance migrating your existing messages from AOL to our servers, please send your AOL email and password to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our migration team will email you back once the emails are moved over.
After everything is setup, check your email at mail.enom.com
The login is your email address.
The password is the one specified when the email account was first created. If we have to create the mailbox as part of our email migration, we will set the password to be the same as your AOL password.
While we make every attempt to properly migrate the emails, we might encounter situations in which the emails have already been downloaded to one of your email clients and are no longer on the server.
We will do our best to accommodate any requests to migrate emails from AOL to Enom. Unfortunately, AOL did not inform nor coordinated the termination and migration of their email service with Enom. As a result, Enom was not prepared to service the number of migration requests that we received. Because of this we apologize ahead of time as we may not be able to complete all migration requests prior to the shutdown of AOL's email services.

If you would like to configure your email client (such as your Apple Mail, Outlook, etc) please see the relevant settings at enom.help/client
If you want to import your AOL contacts, you will first need to export them from mail.aol.com (Contacts > Select all contacts > More > Export > CSV > Export). You will then need to replace the first line of the CSV file with the following:
First Name,Last Name,Display Name,Nickname,E-mail Address,E-mail Address 2,Home Phone,NA,Home Phone 2,NA,Mobile Phone,NA,Other Phone,NA,Business Phone,NA,Categories,Company,Job Title,Department,Business Street,Business Street 2,Business Street 3,Business City,Business State,Business Postal Code,Business Country/Region,Home Street,Home Street 2,Home Street 3,Home City,Home State,Home Postal Code,Home Country/Region,Spouse,Birthday,Anniversary,Notes,Display Name,Web Page 1,Preferred Email
After that, sign into mail.enom.com > Address Book > Import > then select the CSV file and import. You might see an "Internal Server Error" but that's normal. After the import is complete, it may take a bit of time for all the contacts to populate in the address book. You can periodically refresh the address book to see the number of contacts increase. Our system does not import identical entries so the actual number of contacts imported might be slightly lower.
